Maritime Provinces of Canada

Nancy and I are headed off in our Roadtrek to the Maritime Provinces of Canada; we have not been there before, so this will be a new experience for us. We have heard that it is very beautiful, so we are going to see it for ourselves. Our intended route (approximate, since planning the trip in detail ahead of time is not our style) is shown in the map below. The total trip is expected to be about 5,000 miles and we plan to be gone about 5 weeks. We will head out on the northern route, through Sault Saint Marie and across the top of Lake Huron to Ottawa, Montreal, and Quebec City on our way to the Maritime Provinces (New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Nova Scotia). On the way back we plan to take the southern route through New England, New York, Southern Ontario, Lower Michigan, and around Chicago to Madison. On the way back we will stop in Kitchener, Ontario for a Roadtrek rally. Kitchener is the location of the factory (Home and Park) that builds Roadtreks so the tour of the factory should be very interesting. Being an engineer, I will be interested in seeing how the vehicles are built.

We returned home today, so the trip is now complete. We were gone 37 days and traveled a total of 6160 miles. Our Roadtrek was our home every night for the trip.
