RV tour through Mexico's Copper Canyon

Nov. 3 - Nov. 27, 2006

A cousin invited us to join them, and a couple of their friends, on a RV tour through the Copper Canyon area of Mexico. The "Copper Canyon" is actually a system of 6 canyons rivaling the Grand Canyon in size and depth, but rather different.  It is accessible by railroad, but not by road, so you put your RV on a train to go through the canyon.  Thinking this would be really interesting, we jumped at the invitation. Our cousin, Pat, and her husband, Ed, also have a Roadtrek; their friends, Gordon and Diane, who quickly also became our friends, have a class A. The tour company we used was Copper Canyon RV Tours; you can't do a trip like this on your own, since the tour company makes arrangements with the railroad company for the train through the Copper Canyon.

We invite you to follow the links below to read about our trip.
